Chuck Todd: “DOJ wants to criminalize journalism”

Joe Scarboro: “The White House leaks when it suits them, when it doesn’t they call it espionage”

BAM!! CBS’s Bob Schieffer tears into White House spin artist Dan Pfeiffer - bests FoxNews coverage on Sunday talk shows…

“I mean I would, and I mean this as no disrespect to you — why are you here today? Why isn’t the White House chief of staff here to tell us what happened?”

Political abuse of the IRS threatens the basic integrity of our government.
From Peggy Noonan: “Something big has shifted. The standing of the administration has changed.

As always it comes down to trust. Do you trust the president’s answers when he’s pressed on an uncomfortable story? Do you trust his people to be sober and fair-minded as they go about their work? Do you trust the IRS and the Justice Department? You do not.

The president, as usual, acts as if all of this is totally unconnected to him. He’s shocked, it’s unacceptable, he’ll get to the bottom of it. He read about it in the papers, just like you.

But he is not unconnected, he is not a bystander. This is his administration. Those are his executive agencies. He runs the IRS and the Justice Department.

A president sets a mood, a tone. He establishes an atmosphere. If he is arrogant, arrogance spreads. If he is to too partisan, too disrespecting of political adversaries, that spreads too. Presidents always undo themselves and then blame it on the third guy in the last row in the sleepy agency across town.”
We’re going to find out what happened in Benghazi & I don’t give a damn who’s career is impacted

James Carville Calls Ted Cruz the ‘Most Talented and Fearless Republican Politician’ He’s Seen in Decades

Carville: “I think [Ted Cruz] is the most talented and fearless Republican politician I’ve seen in the last 30 years.  I further think that he’s going to run for president, and he is going to create something. He touches every button, and this guy has no fear.  He just keeps plowing ahead.  And he is going to be something to watch.”

The Weekly Standard has new evidence of cover up of Benghazi

“As intelligence officials pieced together the puzzle of events unfolding in Libya, they concluded even before the assaults had ended that al Qaeda-linked terrorists were involved. Senior administration officials, however, sought to obscure the emerging picture and downplay the significance of attacks that killed a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.”

GOP Launches High-Tech Data Operation

The basics:

  • The platform will be built by Liberty Works
  • The initiative will be managed by Data Trust
  • The RNC data warehouse will be the center of the platform. This data warehouse on the GOP side includes decades of gathered data from voter contact, micro-targeting and publicly available consumer data.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Announces Regional Political Directors

Yesterday the GOP announced the appointment of several new Regional Political Directors that will work in conjunction with new field and communications directors; In addition, the GOP plans to further empower state parties. For this to work, a lot of pieces have to fall into place. Leaders speak of ‘bottom-up’ initiatives, but so far it’s ‘top-down.’ Will local political activists embrace these new initiatives?

In the recent ‘Growth & Opportunity’ report, the GOP indirectly referred the Tea Party and other conservative groups as ‘Friends and Allies - Third Party Groups.’ Third party? Does anyone proof-read this stuff before it’s published?

I agree.  When is Congress going to actually conduct a legislative process like our founders intended? Instead, a few ‘gang’ members decide what’s best, write an “all or nothing huge bill’ and rush it through. Immigration ‘reform’ is setting up like Obamacare. Disappointed so far with Rubio on this issue.

Must read article in the WSJ critical of the President for giving Hollywood a pass in the gun debate.

Universal Background Checks — Liberal Codeword for Confiscation

Universal Background Checks: deception and misrepresentation. It is a check on the SELLER as well. Unless you have paperwork, that .22 cal rifle your grandfather had is now ILLEGAL. When you die, you cannot leave your firearms to your family, and unless you provide paperwork, they would be considered illegal and be confiscated.

Don’t be DUPED by this assault on the Second Amendment!!
